IDCARE Supporting the ACSC’s Small Business Survey

IDCARE encourages small businesses to participate in theAustralian Cyber Security (ACSC) Small Business Survey.

Their team in Canberra will benefit from hearing about cyber security from a small business perspective and you may learn a thing or two from the practical tips on offer.

IDCARE has been a target of cyber security threats. We see a lot of interest in our website that comes from places we don’t expect. We’ve had our email address spoofed (someone impersonated us), and like many businesses and government agencies, our staff receive phishing attempts every day. There is no shame in admitting that. It’s shameful to hide these things and not learn from the experience. That’s why the key to our defence is our people, our actions and our culture.

We know cyber security is a foundational business need. It’s not a nice to have. We all share a responsibility to make online Australia a safe place. Share your views and experiences like we have.

Go to Cyber security for small business for more information and to complete the survey.
