Small Business Cyber Resilience Service

We are extending our services to small businesses and sole traders to enhance their cyber resilience and protect their digital assets.
Equipped with the latest technology and staffed by expert cyber advisors, the service will be provided at no cost to small businesses who:

  • Have 19 (or less) full time equivalent employees (not inclusive of the business owner);
  • Are registered in Australia and currently trading, with an active ABN.
  • The Small Business Cyber Resilience Service is funded by the Australian Government and completely free for eligible small businesses.

IDCARE can support eligible businesses with:

  • recovery from a cyber or privacy related incident, including email or  account compromise, website impersonation, phishing, data breach events, hacking, ransomware; and/or
  • cyber resilience assessment and advice.
  • If your business needs cyber resilience advice and support or a guiding hand following a cyber or privacy related incident, IDCARE is here to help.

Our expert cyber advisory service can also remediate unauthorised access to your business related devices by cybercriminals and scammers.

A member of our specialist cyberpsychology team can provide one-on-one wellbeing support to you and your staff following a cyber incident.


Our free service is designed to assess your resilience needs or assist your business get back on its feet after an event.

  • In 2024, small businesses lost an average of $49,600 to scams and cybercrime, an increase of 8% from the previous year.
  • In 44% of incidents reported to IDCARE, small business owners experiencing an event did not know how their business was compromised.
